Barbara K. Peel


In 1960 Barbara K. and William F. Peel founded Red Coats, Inc., a commercial office cleaning company. From this humble beginning, the Red Coats Family of Companies was born and Admiral Security came under our family umbrella in 1979; growing exponentially since that time. Barbara is active in the management of Admiral Security, both operationally and financially. Her particular expertise in the management of costs and receivables has been instrumental in our companies' success.

George D. Vincent

Executive Vice President

Mr. Vincent started with Admiral Security Services in 1981 as an Operations/Sales Manager. He is responsible for the overall performance of Admiral Security Services throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southern Regions.  He has worked extensively with the Red Coats Family of Companies. Mr. Vincent serves on the Corporate Executive Committee, which directs all company policies and procedures. He has been an active member with the Building and Office Management Association, American Society for Industrial Security, Apartment and Office Building Association. He is the Corporate Security License Holder for the following states – Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and North Carolina. He attended Montgomery College and the University of Maryland with a Major in Criminal Justice.

Leon A. Beresford, CPP 

Vice President of Corporate Operations

Leon A. Beresford has 27 years of experience in the security and safety industry with 25 years of management experience. He began his management career serving several years as a Fire Life Safety Director and Security Manager in New York City. He has held several positions in security operations management including Operations Manager, District Manager and Director of Operations. He also managed the security and special police operations, the global operations center, executive protection support, international watch personnel and the emergency hazardous response teams at the International Monetary Fund headquarters. In 2007, Leon joined Admiral Security Services and is currently Vice President of Corporate Operations for the Nation Capitol Region/ Headquarters office. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership for Admiral’s largest division.
Mr. Beresford has achieved the security industry most coveted accreditation. He is Board Certified by ASIS International as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). He received his degree in Security Administration and a separate Certificate in Security Management. He has also received numerous certifications from the Department of Homeland Security in the areas of Incident Command and Threat and Risk Assessments. He completed the Executive Leadership program at Vanderbilt University’s School of Management Executive Development Institute.
Mr. Beresford is an active member of ASIS International, AOBA, Association of Contingency Planners, International Association of Emergency Managers, Washington Area Security Manager's Association, and the Mid Atlantic Disaster Recovery Association.
Mr. Beresford is the Chairman Emeritus for the award winning ASIS International National Capital Region. He serves on the International ASIS Security Services Council. He is also a member of the AOBA Emergency Preparedness Committee.

Jay Lombard

Director of Operations

Mr. Jay Lombard retired from the Marine Corps in July 1991 after having served as a honorably for over 23 ½ years. He was in the Counterintelligence Field for fifteen of those years. He served as the Counterintelligence Chief for Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1), the President’s Helicopter, for four years during the Reagan Administration. He also served for three years as a Special Agent for the Naval Investigative Service conducting counterespionage and criminal investigations.
From 1992 to 2004, Mr. Lombard worked for other security companies in the capacity of Account Manager, Operations Manager, District Manager, and Vice President/ General Manager. In 1997, he made President’s club as a District Manager for a previous employer.
Mr. Lombard joined Admiral Security Services as an Operations Manager in September 2004. He is currently the Director of Operations for D.C. and Northern Va. In this role, he supervises a team of Regional Operations Managers in support of Admiral’s clients and employees.

Cynthia Lunningham, SPHR

Human Resource Manager

Ms. Lunningham has twelve years of human resource management experience, with eight of those years in the security industry, specializing in security guard services for both government agencies and commercial clients.

She has a BA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Political Science from Northern Illinois University and an MBA with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from the University of St. Francis. She currently holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.

As an HR professional in the security industry, she has managed the HR process for security guards across the country, creating policies and programs that have helped to increase productivity and employee morale. She has a strong background in employment, employee and labor relations. Ms. Lunningham is responsible for coordinating all aspect of Admiral’s recruiting, employee relations, benefits and ensuring overall good morale.

Page Wells-Pollock

Business Development Manager

As Business Development Manager, Ms. Wells-Pollock is responsible for soliciting, accepting, reviewing, developing and submitting service proposals to prospective customers; as well as coordinating site visits for assessment, attending bid conferences, and facilitating sales presentations.  She also oversees and facilitates the new customer transition process and manages the business contract renewal process.
